When I first had the idea for this collection of work – I searched online and found that they do in fact, make kaleidoscope glasses! I ordered a pair right away. When they came, I walked around my house and looked at all kinds of random objects while wearing them. Everything looked beautiful in a new and different way.
During a difficult time – wouldn’t it be nice to be able to slip on a pair of glasses that would illuminate the good in the situation? It’s not that simple…but when we work to change the way we look at things, we begin to see and notice different things, positive things…and often we end up finding beauty and goodness despite/alongside despair and heartache.
