Crossing the Finish Line

My last blog post was about a polyptych I was working on (the one pictured here, that consists of 9 separate pieces). I am happy to say it is finished AND I am thrilled with the result. It was much like running a race…I was tired, the finish line seemed to be nowhere in sight…and I needed a drink, lol! 😅 It was just a very detailed, precise and challenging painting series…but so well worth it.

The whole idea behind this painting series is love and acceptance. I will always be a work in progress, but as I get older I realize the more loving and accepting I am of others…the more beautiful the world around me becomes. I often forget the power I possess…the power I have to create an environment of love and acceptance for those around me. So here it is…love and acceptance in all its glory - every color, every shape, every dimension, every direction - all stemming from the lens I choose to see the world through. 💗
