Still Life Set Up Painting Class
For this class we will learn how to create an interesting still life composition for painting. We will have a dedicated area for still life set up, complete with a spotlight. I will have various objects available (plants, vases, etc) for you to use for your still life set up, and you’re also welcome to bring your own meaningful objects to be included in your painting. Along with composition, we will focus on creating value and contrast within our paintings. I will share some of my favorite tips for using your smartphone to create more interesting reference photos. Handouts will be given so that you can take home the information we cover!
